North America is a primary destination for Charles Wells but they had a big challenge to overcome. When American and Canadian citizens searched for the brewery’s products online they were being directed to the company’s UK web page. We were therefore asked to help provide a solution.
We were briefed to create and build a bespoke website for the North American audience to help grow brand awareness, provide customers with information on the available products and ultimately drive sales. The client wanted a bold, light-hearted and responsive site full of rich and useful content to both inform and educate customers.
The new website really captures the Charles Wells brand and tells the US audience all they need to know in order to get their sticky mitts on a pint (or can) of their favourite tipple. The Charles Wells team gave us access to their archive of behind-the-scenes imagery to help us add personality and tell the story of the brewer’s 140-year history.
Visitors can also find detailed brewing and tasting notes on each available beer and explore recipes in which to use the beers. Whilst interactive maps of the US and Canada allow users to search for their nearest stockist, social media links help to create wider Charles Wells fan communities.
