
Design and implementation of a new brand, marketing strategy and plan for Star Medical

Redefining a brand for staff resourcing and outsourcing company Star Medical, to support and drive growth.


Star, a full-service resourcing and outsourcing company for the pharma and healthcare industry, appointed Bonfire Creative Intelligence to devise and implement a new marketing brand communications strategy. This included stakeholder research (internal and external), brand review, and the design and build of a new website to help the company reposition itself to help continue to drive growth.
Following a bespoke workshop with the client based on Bonfire’s Creative Intelligence™ process, we were able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company’s business needs and deliver an exciting and effective response to the brief.
With a strong grasp of the company’s personality and what makes it different, the insight gained informed the brand evolution, new brand styling, and new messaging to amplify its two key services: outsourcing and resourcing.
The outputs included a new brand key, guidelines and tone of voice document that saw the Star icon refreshed with vibrant colour palettes and metaphorical imagery associated to the outsourcing and resourcing parts of the business.
Following a successful launch in the UK - which included an internal launch, brand videos, online and offline advertising and a social media campaign - we are now supporting the ongoing delivery, monitoring, and roll-out of a wider digital communication plan including PPC and social activations.
We have also supported the successful roll-out in Ireland with marketing materials and website, and are now supporting the launch in the Netherlands.

- 200% increase in email submissions
- 150% increase in phone calls


The website has performed so well that Star has now asked us to design and build websites for its operations in Ireland and The Netherlands.
