LETCHWORTH GARDEN CITY BROADWAY BRANDING
Brand refresh for the iconic Broadway Cinema
Expanding on a successful rebrand to embrace a post-covid world.
Letchworth Heritage Foundation, building on our successful Broadway Cinema rebrand from a few years prior, approached Bonfire to expand the brand’s visual language and update the brand architecture to reflect a more consolidated offering post-covid.
The brand, whilst having been deployed, had yet to still reach its full potential from a creative point of view and now seemed as relevant as any to review the brand, its applications and guidelines.
Letchworth, like so many towns, had suffered closures of all its visitor attractions and were looking to reopen with a renewed energy to draw people back. This project ran alongside the rebrand of Standalone Farm, another key visitor attraction we’d done a soft brand update for 6 years prior.
The branding and guidelines were updated along with a refined logo set, shapes, images, colour palette and examples of how the elements could be combined to create consistent communications.
Post-covid the offering at Broadway Cinema is evolving and the renewed branding will help shape and deliver a wider awareness campaign of the venue to ensure that this fantastic historic building gets the use it deserves with a focus not only on cinema and theatre, but also conferencing and events.
RESULTS
- Stage 2 evolution of brand
- Review and expansion of stage 1 branding and guidelines
- Review and rationalisation of sub-brands
- Creation of additional brand assets to allow for easier and wider use of styling by their internal marketing team
