Crafting a stress-free brand mascot for mortgage experts Less Stress
Less Stress, the mortgage experts on a mission to ease the home buying process, entrusted Bonfire to visually embody their philosophy.
Drawing insights from consumer behaviour and lifestyles, we proposed the idea of a playful brand mascot in the form of a blue sloth that we named Lez Stress. The idea was fully embraced by our client, captivated by its alignment with their message of relieving customers from unnecessary stress during the application process.
Operating within a limited budget, we ventured into the realm of AI to bring Lez to life as envisioned. Despite AI’s challenges in maintaining character consistency, we provided clear guidelines for scene settings and Lez’s positioning, resulting in surprisingly impressive outcomes.
Further refinement ensued, enriching Lez’s character with a backstory, endearing personality traits, expressive facial features, and a laid-back tone for messaging. We crafted relatable scenarios to emotionally resonate with our target audience, emphasising the importance of taking it easy.
To accompany Lez’s debut, we meticulously developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, encompassing advertising, signage, leaflets, social media content, and a website.
