Making Viatris’ commitment to helping patients even stronger, with a refreshed online resource for its adrenaline auto-injector.

Viatris’ Adrenalin Auto-Injector is the number one product in its category with 80% of market share. As such, the Adrenalin Auto-Injector portal was already the “go-to” online resource for HCPs and patients alike seeking information about the device, the conditions, and user materials.

Like most healthcare portals, the success is measured by the volume of traffic, time on/engagement with the site, and more importantly, the number of downloads (or orders) for both training materials and, where relevant, training devices. Our task was to make this leading online resource even better.

We started with a full review of the site content, navigation, user journeys and all site analytics with the brand team. Content was broken down into 3 categories HCP, Patient and Public. Within Patient there was also an area for young Adrenalin Auto-Injector patients.

We then remapped the site content and navigation to optimise the user journeys and increase the accessibility to all key content areas. From here, wireframes were produced and, drawing on our wider brand and retail experience, a fresh new design and UX was developed along with animations to show how the site would animate.

The approved site maps, wireframes, design files and animations were then supplied to the Viatris development team in-house.

RESULTS

  • Since site launch, the traffic and time on site (and therefore engagement) has increased
  • More importantly, downloads/orders for training materials and requests for training devices increased by over 200%
  • The site’s success has now led to the new format being adopted for roll-out globally
