CLIK – a new brand is born!

Way back in April, Bonfire were contacted by Argos, and asked if we would like to pitch to create a brand for a new premium range of technology accessories they were planning to launch.

The Pitch

To be awarded the work, the successful design consultancy would need to create a modern and flexible brand for a range of quality, great value phone and tablet accessories.

The identity needed to have standout, creating quick impact among two age groups: 17-24 year olds earning their first income, and 35-40 year olds looking for contemporary designs offering value for money.

Bonfire presented four concepts which each had an individual story and the promise of a desirable brand.

Bonfire’s CLIK concept won the pitch and, as an added bonus, were asked to look at the phone and tablet cover designs as well!

A Brand is Born…

CLIK. A catchy name but where did It come from? Well, directly from the satisfying sound made when attaching a lead or attaching a cover. An audible ‘click’ is made – not a snap or a clunk, the ‘click’ is a sound of quality materials coming together, and this was shortened to ‘CLIK’.
