Bosch sponsors Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch


Our friendly expert Karl, the Bosch engineer, is back on our screens. This time he played a supporting role to talking appliances.

We were asked to storyboard, script and produce idents for Bosch’s initial 12-month sponsorship of Channel 4’s magazine programme, Sunday Brunch; and right away we knew who would take the leading roles.

It was the appliances themselves who would provide the ‘kitchen banter’, adding personality to product benefits. Humour was front and centre, as we wanted to engage the audience, while keeping on the right side of sponsorship guidelines.

Bosch product voices are heard every Sunday from 9.30am on Channel 4, alongside the hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy. Perfectly pitched to be seen and heard in the home just before Sunday lunch.

The results speak for themselves

A mid-way effectiveness study conducted by Channel 4 identified that 85% of those who watch Sunday Brunch regularly recognise the Bosch brand activity.

Due to its successful 12-month run, Bosch have signed up for another year. So you’ll see Bosch back in the Sunday Brunch kitchen throughout 2016!
